Have you read 1776 by David McCullough? If you haven't, I suggest you do. The images he portrays of soldiers walking for miles in the freezing cold, leaving trails of blood with their bootless feet is hard to imagine as I write this in my Nike Shocks. But I realized that if those amazing men could suffer those hardships for my freedom then I could get off my lazy butt and start educating myself on the issues facing our nation and let my voice be heard!
Our country is in peril and it needs your help. I am not asking you to walk for miles in the cold with bleeding feet. I am not even asking you to leave the comfort of your home (even though I am hoping you will on April 15 at Vernon Worthen Park from 5 to 7 p.m.) but I am asking you to get online and on your phone! Let your voice be heard!!!! Below is some information to help you get started.
